Affiliate disclosure

This affiliate disclosure exists because you deserve to know how the lab pays its bills. In line with the FTC's guidelines on material connections (16 CFR Part 255): some outbound links on BotForge are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy a subscription or plan, the vendor may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way — commissions come out of the vendor's marketing budget, not your pocket.

How to spot our affiliate links

Every affiliate link on this site is routed through a /go/ address — for example, a 'try Framer' link points at /go/framer before redirecting to the vendor. We do this deliberately: it makes monetized links visible and auditable instead of buried in tracking parameters. Links to our own pages, to blog posts, and to documentation or sources are ordinary links; if it doesn't go through /go/, it doesn't pay us.

Which builders this covers

Affiliate relationships change as programs open, close, and adjust their terms, so we describe them as a moving set: at any given time, our active relationships may include Framer, Lovable, Hostinger, Wix, Durable, and 10Web — the six builders we currently rank. Some /go/ routes may point at vendors that pay us nothing; we keep the routing uniform so that a link's destination never signals its economics. What we will never do is add a tool to the rankings because it has an affiliate program, or drop one because it doesn't.

The firewall: commissions never touch scores

Ratings and rankings are produced by the method documented on how we test: one standard brief, five scoring dimensions, prices verified against vendors' live pages. Commission rates play no role in any of it. A builder that doubled our payout tomorrow would hold exactly the rank it holds today; a builder that cut us off entirely would too. The current leaderboard is the proof in practice — it does not order itself by who pays best.

The same firewall covers access: vendors cannot pay to be tested, pay to be retested, preview reports before publication, or purchase the removal of a caveat. Reports change when the product changes, and for no other reason.
